08.01.06 |  a much-needed vacation is finally here!  2 weeks in france - including a wedding to attend, friends to visit, and sightseeing on the french riviera.  jérôme is already in europe, so i'm flying alone this time - eek!  but i'm not too worried, since there's absolutely nothing worse than flying BACK to the united states alone - for some reason the french have it all wrong when it comes to flying.  they've managed to conquer the field on producing fattening food and still staying thin, making smaller salaries and still taking longer vacations - yet somehow the concept of allowing passengers to board an aircraft in an orderly way is beyond their superpowers!
